The Mission of INACCA is:

  1. The education and training of animal welfare and control personnel.
     
  2. The education of the public in the responsibilities of animal ownership and the promotion of understanding and cooperation between animal welfare and control personnel and the public.
     
  3. Cooperation between state and local humane societies and animal welfare and control agencies.
     
  4. Exchange of information regarding animal welfare and control programs.
     
  5. Provision of expertise and guidance on animal welfare and control related subjects to public officials at the city, county and state levels.
     
  6. To identify issues relating to animal welfare and control and to make recommendations on these issues.
     
  7. To establish a liaison with other professional organizations and groups having related interests.
