animal welfare and control personnel.

the responsibilities of animal ownership and the
promotion of understanding and cooperation between
animal welfare and control personnel and the public.
- Cooperation between state and
local humane societies and animal welfare and control
agencies.
- Exchange of information regarding
animal welfare and control programs.
- Provision of expertise and
guidance on animal welfare and control related subjects
to public officials at the city, county and state
levels.
- To identify issues relating to
animal welfare and control and to make recommendations
on these issues.
- To establish a liaison with other
professional organizations and groups having related
interests.
